Hi, Lindsay here. Something a little different this week as I’m away from my desk. I thought it would be fun and interesting to find out more about YOU and your home. Nothing too nosy, don’t worry, but a little fact or nugget of info/inspo to share.
So why don’t you join me, say hi and tell me something about the home YOU’VE made…?
For example, are you planning a new project, in the midst of one, what’s your dream home like, what’s the favourite bit about your place?
I’ll go first. I feel like I’m always in some sort of planning mode (the list of house jobs is endless, no? And sadly the pot of money is not) but the top jobs before the end of the year include hiring an electrician to fit some new lights, redecorating the main bedroom and properly sorting my home office (more on that soon).
We’ve been in our 1930’s home for 21 years now and having added three extensions to reconfigure the space we love it. So my plans are now more decorative, I would love to swap our coffee table for a large footstool, employ a carpenter to make us an extra long media/storage unit and redecorate my youngest sons bedroom. I just need to convince my husband! Have a great trip, Lindsay
Love this, thanks for sharing Rachael. Sounds like you’ve done lots of work in that time and you’re onto the fun bit of decor! Although I feel like that’s never ending too. I love the idea of a coffee table/footstool because mine inevitably ends up being that anyway! One with storage would be great in my house too. Good luck in your search and with next projects.
Thanks Lindsay, the problem is so many of my clients are talented interior designers, upholsterers etc that I keep seeing different things that I love. Wish I could have them all!
